La Nou is situated Just 70 kms. south of Barcelona and 14 kms from Tarragona.
The nearest large villages are Altafulla about 5 kms. and Torredembarra approx 6 kms.
The beaches of Altafulla,Torredembarra and La Mora are long wide and sandy, with beach bars and restaurants. All three within 10 minutes drive and all have free parking.
Torredembarra has a marina with restaurants along the quayside, whilst at the other end of the beach is the old fishing village with more excellent restaurants on the sea front.
Days out to the monasteries of Poblet,Santes Creus and Montserrat are about an hour's drive.
The wineries of Penedes are less than an hour's drive, and those of Priorat are about 2 hours away.
Barcelona is an easy 50 minute car journey or by train from Torredembarra about an hour.
Madrid can be reached in a couple of hours on the new AVE, via Zaragoza - our nearest station is at La Secuita (Camp de Tarragona) about 20 minutes away.
The Port Aventura theme park at Salou is about 25 mins. drive.

Reus airport is our closest airport - about 20 minutes and during the summer there are regular flights there from the UK. In the winter Easyjet, Ryanair or BA to Barcelona is the best option. Journey time approx. 50 mins.
